ABOUT POLLY

Hi, my name's Polly and I'm a British tattoo artist living and tattooing in Norway since 2019.

I'm currently based in Oslo, Norway and work as an artist full time at Ambrosia Studio in Gronland, Oslo.

My hours are usually Monday to Friday from 10:00-16:00. The studio is appointment only, so you do need to send an email to book either an appointment or consultation.

Prices start from 1000kr, I normally prefer to work with a fixed rate or price for the tattoos I make.

I enjoy tattooing black line work, as well as creating strange and unusual designs. There is often a slightly surreal, botanical and horror inspired twist to my work, but I am also open to other styles.

When I'm not tattooing, I can normally be found hiking through the woods and searching for mushrooms, or otherwise painting and working with other crafts.

Josie Proto

"Polly was the best tattoo experience I have ever had, it felt like being tattooed by an old friend, patient and listening but unafraid to guide and support with exceptional results"

Daniel King

"Came to Polly to get one of her flash designs and just kept returning for my time in Norway. She always took a lot of time and did amazing work on any ideas I came up with. A bonus was the music and film chats making it a great experience, can't wait to go back."

Daniel Verhoest

"I was super excited to get my first tattoo last year. Was pretty anxious before we started but Polly guided me through the process. Thank you so much for making it a great experience!"

FAQs

Answers to the scary tattoo questions...

  • Having pre tattoo anxiety is normal, whether that is about the tattoo you're getting or if you're worried it will be painful. If you have any concerns about your project, then I'm more than happy to book a consult for you. Maybe you're undecided on your design, maybe you're worried about placement or size etc. I'm available to talk and answer any of your questions :)

  • I only take deposits for very custom and specific pieces of work that require a lot of research and designing, or for very large scale projects. If you have not paid a deposit for your work, do not expect to see the design before the appointment. If you wish to see the work before your appointment, then you will need to pay a deposit.

  • Any new client of mine will be fully taught how to look after their new tattoo. I will advice on the best products and care during our session.

  • Cancellation requires at least 48 hours notice. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, then you will be required to pay a deposit to secure your next appointment.

  • I work mainly in black line work, with shaded details with a slightly surreal, botanical and horror inspired twist to my work. I'm happy to make other styles of work such as text, but can't do photo realism (but happy to recommend you an artist who can).

  • Please eat before coming. Getting a tattoo can be quite exhausting for your body, and having some fuel in you can help to offset some of the negative symptoms you might get whilst being tattooed, like being light headed.
